<p>A manhole having an offensive odor outflow preventer is provided to offer pleasant environment to pedestrians by preventing the outflow of offensive odor from the bottom of a manhole to a road by sealing up a manhole cover using an offensive odor outflow preventer when fluids do not flow in a manhole and controlling the flow of fluids when fluids flow in. The manhole having an offensive odor outflow preventer comprises a cover frame installed to a side wall of a hole, a manhole cover(20) placed on the cover frame and provided with water passing holes(21), and an offensive odor outflow preventer composed of a sealing membrane(30) having a hollow and sealing up a space with the water passing holes to prevent the outflow of fluids passing through the water passing holes of the manhole cover to the bottom of a manhole, an elastic spring(40) placed on the bottom of the sealing membrane and fitted to the hollow of the sealing membrane and a fixture(50) coupled to the bottom of the manhole cover through the sealing membrane through the elastic spring and the sealing membrane. If the fluids flew in through the water passing holes of the manhole cover are above the appointed weight, the elastic spring is compressed and the sealing membrane is moved vertically in the downward direction to control the outflow of fluids and to cut off the offensive odor emitted from the bottom of the manhole when fluids do not flow in.</p> |
