A method and a system for measuring the radio quality of a synchronous CDMA network are provided to reduce the cost and manpower required for wireless network quality measurement by measuring and analyzing the quality of a wireless network based on the messages reported to a system from an MS(Mobile Station) in order to maintain handover and QoS(Quality of Service). A radio quality analyzer transmits a location registration order to an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) in order to activate an idle MS(S201). The MSC, receiving the location registration order, transmits a registration request order message to a BSC(Base Station Controller)(S203). The BSC transmits the location registration order to the MS(S205). The MS, receiving the location registration order, transmits a registration message to the BSC(S207). The BSC transmits a location update request message to the MSC(S209). At this moment, the BSC extracts radio quality measurement data, such as Ec/Io, PN_Phase, etc., from the received registration message, creates a radio quality measurement result message, and transmits it to an OAM(Operation And Management) server(S211). The OAM server transmits the radio quality measurement result message to the radio quality analyzer in real time(S213).
