SHIFT CONTROL DEVICE FOR BICYCLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make other vehicles clearly recognize existence of a bicycle at night.

SOLUTION: The shift control device for the bicycle is provided with a shifter housing 20; a shift control mechanism 22; and a lighting mechanism 24. The shift control mechanism 22 is provided on the shifter housing 20 and controls a transmission part for the bicycle. The lighting mechanism 24 is provided on the shifter housing 20 and is provided with a location light 60 for the bicycle for emitting the light outward from the shifter housing 20 at a position separated from a gear position indicator 26.
