SACCHAROMYCES CEREVISIAE STRAIN FOR EXCESSIVELY FORMING GLUTATHIONE AND gamma-GLUTAMYLCYSTEINE AND ITS USE PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain for excessively forming glutathione and γ-glutamylcysteine and to provide a process for excessively forming glutathione and γ-glutamylcysteine.

SOLUTION: The culture is a biologically pure culture of a microorganism strain that is selected from the group consisting of YAO2032 strain (accession number DSM 17789) and YAO3083 strain(accession number DSM 17790) and has all characteristics of Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain. The culture has characteristic properties of forming glutathione and γ-glutamylcysteine being its precursor.
