<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device including LEDs, a solar battery and a secondary battery, which can emit light of a desired color and a desired quantity, and to provide an illumination method. <P>SOLUTION: A luminous unit 2 comprising the LEDs includes the plurality of LEDs which emit lights of different colors.
