<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device requiring no external source of sodium or other electrolyte, capable of producing a self-suppression type eluent, requiring no second suppressor column, and suited to analyzing both cation and anion in a single test sample. <P>SOLUTION: This device includes a housing 1 having an effluent-flowing channel 9 allowing flow of fluid. The effluent-flowing channel 9 contains a chromatography material 15. The device also contains first and second electrodes 11 and 13. The first and second electrodes 11 and 13 are arranged in such a way that at least part of the material 15 is arranged between the electrodes 11 and 13 and the fluid flowing through the device comes into contact with the first and second electrodes 11 and 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
