<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device integrated type information writing device capable of continuously displaying handwritten information even after turning off a power supply using a passively driven or actively driven display device having display memory property. <P>SOLUTION: The display device integrated type information writing device 11 has a display device 12 for displaying the written information and an information input device 14 with a position detecting function for hand-writing the information. The display device 12 is a passively driven or actively driven display device that has the display memory property and is sequentially addressed every scanning electrode.
