PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensitivity correcting method and imaging apparatus capable of performing accurate shading correction in simple configuration. SOLUTION: The sensitivity correcting method comprises an imaging means for imaging an object using a plurality of imaging devices and an optical unit 2 for forming an image of light from the object on the imaging device, a signal from the object is simultaneously photodetected by the plurality of imaging devices, and the photodetection signals of the imaging devices are then read into the plurality of imaging devices 3 in a first order and stored as first read data. The photodetection signals of the imaging devices 3 are then read again in a second order reverse to the first order and stored as second read data, average values of the first read data and the second read data in the imaging devices 3 are then calculated and defined as read data of the imaging devices 3.
