PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide powder sprayer capable of preventing a reduction in treatment efficiency for producing various kinds of articles which can easily and rapidly change a powder to be sprayed without stopping a line for forming a cover layer by spraying a powder to base material. SOLUTION: The sprayer is provided with a transfer route 2 for transferring the long base material 1 in the longitudinal direction, a plurality of spray means 4 spraying the powder 3 to the base material 1 on the transfer route 2, a change means 5 changing the powder 3 between respective spray means 4 and the transfer route 2 from/to a state permitting dropping of the powder 3 to/from a state preventing dropping, a cut means 7 bringing down short base materials 6 by cutting the base material 1 sprayed with the powder 3 on the transfer rote 2, a plurality of branched routes 8 branched from the final ends of the transfer route 2, and a sorting means 9 sorting the base materials 6 from the transfer route 2 to any of the plurality of branched routes 8.
