PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mail processing method capable of preventing waste cost associated with mailing. SOLUTION: The mail processing method comprises the steps of acquiring a mail delivery list, reading address information out of a plurality of mail pieces, comparing the acquired delivery list with the address information red, sorting mail pieces unsuitable for delivery, and sorting mail pieces to which a discount rate is applicable based on the address information read.
