PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker and warmer for reducing work of a user, and for effectively preventing decomposition and deterioration of taste of cooked rice by retaining heat. SOLUTION: The rice cooker and warmer has a pot arranged inside a rice cooker body for storing the cooked rice, an openable lid for covering the upper opening of the pot, a pot bottom heating means for heating the pot, a pot temperature sensor for detecting temperature of the pot, a heating control part for controlling operation for the pot by the pot bottom heating means, a rice-cooking information input part for inputting rice-cooking information concerning rice cooking, an automatic selection part of warming mode for automatically selecting a corresponding warming mode from a plurality of warming modes corresponding to the rice-cooking information inputted by the rice-cooking information input part before start of rice cooking, and a warming temperature control part for controlling warming temperature by controlling the heating control part from the warming mode selected by the automatic selection part and detected temperature sensed by the pot temperature sensor.
