A plasma display panel is provided to improve luminance and a driving margin by shortening an exhaust period and cleaning a discharge space by performing a sealing/exhaust process in vacuum atmosphere. A rear substrate(10) and a front substrate(20) are disposed opposite to each other. A frit(50) is formed along rims of the rear substrate and the front substrate in order to attach the rear and front substrates to each other. The frit includes air bubbles(51). A diameter of each of the air bubbles is equal to or less than 300 micrometers. A surface area of the air bubbles is 20 percent of a surface area of the frit and less. In the frit, a thermal expansion coefficient to 300 degrees centigrade is 60 to 90x10^-7/degrees centigrade.
