<p>There is described a coated sheet (preferably polyolefinic film) coated with a composition comprising a urethane polymer component and an acrylic polymer component and further comprises a plurality of cross-linkers. Preferably at least one cross-linker is selected from: oxirane (preferably epoxy), carbodiimide, isocyanate and arizidine compounds and mixtures thereof. The resultant films are printable yet are resistant to solvents, abrasion and water. The coated films may be prepared without a separate primer coat. A preferred application of the film is in labels or graphic arts.</p> |
