<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving an optical writing head using a self-scanning type light-emitting element array which does not generate abnormality of transferring and inferiority of transferring. <P>SOLUTION: An outputted value Vc of a corrected value generator 20 for generating a timing corrected value and an electric voltage Vs of a saw blade wave outputted by a saw blade wave generator 22 are compared by a comparator 24, and when the electric voltage of the saw blade wave is higher, an output Vo of the comparator becomes a level L. A signal ϕ<SB>I</SB>is prepared by taking AND of the output of the comparator and an image signal I by an AND circuit 26. Abnormality of transferring or inferiority of transferring of a thyristor of a light-emitting part can be prevented by shifting timing of starting of turning-on of the thyristor on every thyristor of the light-emitting part by this signal ϕ<SB>I</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
