PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-friction slide member capable of effectively providing a friction reduction effect.

SOLUTION: This low-friction slide member 1 having minute recessed parts 3 on at least one-side slide surface 2 of a pair of slide members having slide surfaces 2 sliding on each other by interlaying oil therebetween is characterized in that the slide surface 2 with the recessed parts 3 formed thereon is provided with multiple texture groups 4 each consisting of at least two recessed parts 3 adjacent to each other; the adjacent recessed parts 3 have regions mutually overlapping along the direction of sliding or the direction of oil flow; the spacing between texture groups 4 is larger than that between adjacent recessed portions 3; and the texture groups are uniformly distributed on the slide surface.
