PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal which is an object of this invention and is provided with one casing, the other casing and a connection body disposed between the one casing and the other casing, wherein the one casing and the other casing are connected through the connection body in a freely openable/closable way centered on an opening/closing shaft, and the other casing is connected freely swingably to the connection body centered on a swing shaft perpendicular to the opening/closing shaft, the portable terminal in which a lower casing and an upper casing are prevented beforehand from being damaged due to an opening and closing/swinging operation and in addition, the degree of freedom of design about the installation of a light display part can be increased. SOLUTION: A light display part is provided at a corner facing the one casing in the other casing opened with respect to the one casing, and a cover member provided with a cushion function as well as a light display function is attached to a corner part of the other casing.
