PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mass damper mounting structure preventing a mass damper from dropping out by press-fitting the mass damper onto the outer peripheral face of an outward member of a constant velocity universal joint. SOLUTION: The outward member 12 has a recess 51 formed in a position near an end face 11a of the mass damper 11 press-fitted. An engaging structure 50 plastically deforms part of the mass damper 11 press-fitted and engages the recess 51 of the outward member 12 with a plastically deformed portion 52 of the mass damper 11 in the axial direction.
