The system (MTS) comprises artificial flick hair epithelium anchored with multiple substrates (SU). The flick hairs (FH) from a shape retention polymer are switched at a selected distance to each other by the periodic exposure of stimuli produced by a stimulus source between an under-curved state and a curved state. The source of stimulus has a global effect on the entire flick hair epithelium and a local effect on pre-determined areas of the flick hair epithelium. An independent claim is also included for a method for the production of a miniaturized transport system.
