A valve plate of a compressor is provided to mount a heat emitting plate to be exposed to the air for preventing an internal temperature of the compressor from rising abnormally, thereby preventing deterioration of durability of the compressor. A valve plate of a compressor includes a plate(51) mounted between a housing and a cover of the compressor, and formed with an inlet for refrigerant of low pressure and an outlet for compressed refrigerant. A heat emitting plate(52) is mounted along the periphery of the plate. The heat emitting plate is perpendicular to the plate and has a plurality of heat emitting protrusions(53) protruded therefrom.
