<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and the like which enable a user to more easily and appropriately connect a cable to desired connection terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A projector 10 having a plurality of the connection terminals capable of at least either of inputting and outputting of respectively different signals is constituted by including a selection information input section 116 which inputs the selection information indicating the selection of the specific signal by the user, a decision section 122 which judges the connection terminal to be used among the plurality of the connection terminals based on the selection information, and a controller 126 which instructs the position of the connection terminal judged by the decision section 122 by using at least one of an image, sound, and light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
