<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying device, capable of correctly detecting the carrying position of an article to be conveyed, and a printer using that at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: An encoder plate 41 has a number of slits 41a in an outer circumferential part. Since its center is journalled to an end part of a roller 21b, it integrally rotates with the roller 21b. The roller 21b is energized by a spring 23 toward a roller 21a, and the encoder plate 41 moves to PI42 depending on whether or not an instant film sheet 11 is held by a pair of carrying rollers 21. Output difference is thus generated in a train of pulse signals output from the PI42. A position detection part 16a detects a tip of the instant film sheet 11 based on the output difference, and detects carrying speed based on the train of pulse signals after detection of the tip, thereby the carrying position is correctly detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
