<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission scheme, an information transmission system, an image pickup device and aqn information transmission method by which information is extracted correctly at all the time while evading adverse influences caused by disturbance light. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting unit (30) comprises a conversion means for converting information into time-sequential luminance change patterns and a light emitting means (37) for emitting light in the luminance change patterns converted by the conversion means. A light receiving unit (40) comprises an image pickup means (45), a storage means (46) for sequentially storing frame image signals picked up by the image pickup means, an extraction means (49) for extracting a pixel area wherein the luminance is time-sequentially varied by light emitted by a light emitting section from the frame image signals sequentially stored by the storage means, a decoding means (49) for decoding the variation of luminance in the pixel area into information if the variation of luminance in the pixel area extracted by the extraction means is caused by a predetermined pattern, and a generation means (49) for generating the information decoded by the decoding means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
