PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material applying apparatus capable of discharging and applying a material at a pressure set in the start-up of the discharge even when the viscosity of the material is changed with the change of temperature or the like. SOLUTION: A nozzle 13 is attached to a booster 11 for giving pressure to the viscous material M via a discharge valve 15. A pressure sensor 28 for detecting the discharge pressure given to the viscous material M inside of a cylinder 21 is provided in the cylinder 21 constituting the booster 11. The pressure sensor 28 detects the pressure in the cylinder 21 when applying the material and the detected pressure is stored in a controller 18 as the pressure set in the start-up of the discharge. The discharge work is carried out by opening the discharge valve 15 when a plunger 21 is moved downward and the pressure in the cylinder 20 reaches the set pressure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
