PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "navigator" which can raise user-friendliness. SOLUTION: The navigator comprises: a DVD2 stores map data established with partitioned figure leaves respectively as a unit by longitude and latitude required for indication or path planning, detailed data of a facility corresponding to a predetermined theme including a predetermined area specified by designating a plurality of junctions set as a unit; and a navigation controller 1, etc. which perform a predetermined navigation processing in consideration of the whole predetermined area. The navigation processing performed by the navigation controller 1, etc. is route search processing. The navigation controller 1, etc. establishes a field path to travel around a predetermined area preferentially, or a field path to avoid a travel of the predetermined area.
