A pad clip is made by an elastic plate and includes a base plate portion, and a pair of elastic plate portions folded to bend in the same direction from both end portions of the base plate portion. The pad clip is provided with an elastic force in a direction of expanding an interval between the two elastic plate portions. In a state of elastically contracting the interval between the two elastic plate portions, the pad clips are inserted to inner sides of guide recessed portions formed at a pressure plate constituting the brake pad, thereby, the two elastic plate portions are elastically pressed to inner faces of the two guide recessed portions to thereby mount the pad clip to the pressure plate.
