A Kimchi refrigerator with a door which is easily opened by an elastic member of a hinge unit but not closed by its own weight when the door is opened is provided. The Kimchi refrigerator prevents automatic closing of the door when the door is opened and shaking of the body generated by its own weight of the door during movement of the door. A Kimchi refrigerator(1) comprises: a body cabinet(2) forming a storage room(3); a door(4) opening and closing the storage room; a hinge unit(5) rotatably supporting the door in the storage room; and a clamp unit enabling the door to close the storage room and maintain it in a closed state. The hinge unit is characterized in that it contains a hinge shaft rotatably connecting the door to the storage room and an elastic member connected to the hinge shaft and providing an elastic force to the door to move rotatably the door to an open position from a closed position when the door is opened. The elastic member is a torsion spring. The clamp unit enables the user to identify whether or not the door is closed.
