<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control unit and vehicle capable of quickly detecting abnormal conditions of relays that have been generated, during operation of loadings. <P>SOLUTION: A control unit 230 inspects repeatedly whether continuity of system main relays SMR2, SMR3 is normal, during running of vehicle (that is, during operation of loadings). If abnormal conditions occur in at least either of the system main relays SMR2, SMR3, electric power supply from a battery B will not be carried out on the loadings. A this moment, electric power stored in a smoothing capacitor C1 (or a smoothing capacitor C2) is consumed by the operation of the loadings. Then, a control unit 230 determines whether continuity of the system main relays is normal, depending on the accumulated state of electric power stored in the smoothing capacitor C1 (or the smoothing capacitor C2).
