<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display method of a spontaneous light emitting display that can effectively reduce total power consumption including a booster circuit, and an image display device. <P>SOLUTION: The image display method of boosting a DC source voltage by the booster circuit and drives the spontaneous light emitting display with its output voltage to display image includes a luminance information arithmetic process of previously computing luminance information of image data to be displayed on the spontaneous light emission display and a display control process of controlling at least the output voltage of the booster circuit based upon the arithmetic result of the luminance information arithmetic process to display the image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
