<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which can be used as a power supply for memory backup and is excellent in over discharge cycle characteristics, and whose battery capacity is large. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is characterized in that it comprises: a positive electrode 1 including a positive electrode active material; a negative electrode 2 including a negative electrode active material; and an nonaqueous electrolyte, wherein a mixture serving as the positive electrode active material or the negative electrode active material is made by mixing molybdenum dioxide and lithium titanate in such a way that a ratio by weight of molybdenum dioxide to lithium titanate (molybdenum dioxide:lithium titanate) is in the range of 90:10 to 50:50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
