摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a carbon nanostructure by which a continuous growth mechanism of the carbon nanostructure can be optimized, and the carbon nanostructure of high quality can be manufactured as a result, and to provide a catalyst for carbon nanostructure growth used for the method, raw material gas and carrier gas each for manufacturing the carbon nanostructure, and an apparatus for manufacturing the carbon nanostructure. <P>SOLUTION: In the apparatus for manufacturing the carbon nanostructure with continuously controllable length, when manufacturing the carbon nanostructure 2 by supplying the carrier gas and raw material gas to a reaction chamber 4 and using a catalyst body 6, concentration of the carrier gas or oxidizing gas like oxygen and moisture in the raw material gas (in acetylene raw material gas, trace components of DMF and acetone each being a solvent) is controlled to highly efficiently manufacture the carbon nanostructure of high quality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p>
