PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a molded thin film by a more economical way. SOLUTION: The method comprises the step of coating a base material layer 2 with a photo-curing (photosensitive) or heat-curing adhesive resin layer 4, the step of forming a mold pattern 10 of a prism-like array or a micromold pattern on the adhesive resin layer 4 with a tape-shaped die 63 having a mold pattern 64 formed in advance and molding or press-molding, and the step of curing the photo-curing or heat-curing adhesive resin layer of the base material layer 2 to obtain a laminated thin film having the mold pattern 10 stably formed on the adhesive resin layer 4.
