<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely estimate the curving conditions of a traveling lane in the case of changing the traveling lane shape of its own vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This traveling lane estimation device is configured to estimate a traveling lane on which its own vehicle is traveling, based on the traveling status of its own vehicle detected by a traveling status detection means and a second yaw rate to which filter processing has been operated so that the change of a first yaw rate detected by a yaw rate detection means can be relaxed, wherein cutoff frequency to decide the characteristics of filter processing is respectively set based on the traveling status and the first yaw rate, and the characteristics of the filter processing are set by selecting the cutoff frequency which is higher between the obtained cutoff frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
