PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network scanner apparatus for saving the transmission time and the energy by appropriately transmitting image data to a required transmission destination requiring the image data. SOLUTION: The network scanner apparatus receives a plurality of transmission destination addresses (steps S1, 2) in order to transmit read image data to an optional apparatus via a network for broadcasting the image data, transmits the read image data themselves to at least one of the received transmission destination addresses (an address of a shared folder) (step S6), and transmits thumbnail data of the image data to the remaining transmission destination addresses except at least the one transmission destination address (electronic mail addresses) (step S7), so as to transmit the image data with a required size to the required transmission destination.
