PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material for reform capable of enhancing workability of retrofitting work, without deteriorating habitability. SOLUTION: This floor material 10 for reform has a long size planar woody base material 16, a shock absorbing layer 20 arranged on the under surface of the woody base material 16, and an adsorbing layer 22 composed of a foam resin arranged on the under surface of the shock absorbing layer 20. A plurality of groove lines 26c are formed on the under surface of the woody base material 16 for providing flexibility, and a plurality of micropores 22c are opened on the under surface 22a of the adsorbing layer 22 for providing adsorptivity. Thus, when laying the floor material 10 for retrofitting, the adsorbing layer 22 can be adsorbed to an upper surface of an existing floor material 14.
