摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcement structure for a bridge structure which can prevent local buckling, and can effectively reinforce a welding portion of steel plates forming a peripheral wall, to thereby achieve the reinforcement structure particularly fitted for bridge piers and girders of large scales that are employed in an expressway etc. SOLUTION: The steel pier K1 has the peripheral wall 1 which is constructed by welding and connecting the plurality of steel plates 1a41, 1a42, 1a43 and 1a44 to one another in a circumferential direction so as to have a rectangular horizontal section. A reinforcing member 2 formed of partition walls 2a is arranged in the peripheral wall 1 so that a horizontal section thereof is radially expanded from the center of a cavity to circumferential welding portions 1b1, 1b2, 1b3 and 1b4 of the respective steel plates. Further the reinforcement structure has joint portions 2b each having a necessary width in the circumferential direction at necessary locations along horizontal edges of the partition walls 2a, respectively, so as to be astride both inner surfaces of the two steel plates connected to each other at the circumferential welding portions 1b2, 1b2, 1b3 and 1b4, respectively.
