PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize a status of a person regardless of an instruction from the person. SOLUTION: This person status recognition device has: a physical sensor 51 comprising a plurality of sensors monitoring the person; a logical sensor 52 specifying contents of a plurality of elements for recognizing the status of the person on the basis of information from the physical sensor 51; and a recognition part 53 recognizing the status of the person on the basis of a combination of contents of the respective elements.
