PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for describing an ACPI machine language table in a PCI multi-stage bridge configuration computer, which allows an OS to cope with PCI hot plug with respect to PCI devices subordinated to a PCI multi-stage bridge. SOLUTION: When a call for a resource information method of a PCI device is received from an ACPI driver of the OS (S410), a PCI configuration access to a lower bridge on the PCI device side is performed (S421) in order to return resource information of the PCI device from an AML table provided by a BIOS, and PCI configuration access to a higher bridge on the system bus side is performed (S422) in order to acquire resource information of the lower bridge, and resource information of the lower bridge is acquired from the higher bridge (S424), and secondary resource information is acquired from a PCI configuration space of the lower bridge (S425).
