PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image search device, an image search method and a program capable of simply performing selection of an image and designation of an attribute on a screen of a display faithfully from an intention of a searcher when searching digital image contents on the basis of an ambiguous memory of the searcher. SOLUTION: The image search device presents a plurality of attributes given to the digital image contents as a search criterion (a start point of search) (220), and displays a plurality of images similar to the digital image contents (211a) as a criterion on the basis of a designated attribute (210) when the searcher responds to a request and designates an attribute similar to an intention of search (221a). The searcher selects the most similar digital image content as a next criterion (start point) from the displayed digital image contents (211b), and repeats its search operation.
