PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute data without using any identifier such as an ID by using ringtone music data for retrieval processing in a server. SOLUTION: A computer 5 transmits the ringtone music data transferred by a portable telephone set 4 to a server device 10. A system management side of the server device 10 confirms that a transmitter user of the ringtone music data owns the ringtone music data according to reception of the ringtone music data and does not issue an unnecessary ID. Also, the server device 10 extracts property information included in the ringtone music data and retrieves a music database 20 on the basis of the extracted property information. The music database 20 registers a plurality of music full data in association with the ringtone music data and the server device 10 transmits the music full data hit in the retrieval to the computer 5.
