PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of a detecting rotational angle of a sprocket with a high precision and space-saving method. SOLUTION: The pattern forming surface 27a is provided on the sprocket 23 which changes pattern formation surface 27a which changes into different mode for every rotational angle of sprocket 23, and the modes of the pattern formation surface 27a which changes into different modes for every rotational angle of the sprocket 23, and the absolute rotational angle of sprocket 23 is detected by the absolute angle detection part 27c by the photosensor 27d from the combination of sense signals by the photosensor 27d.
