PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamp member having a long service life and excellent machining accuracy by suppressing rubbing wear easily generated in each sliding part corresponding to various kinds of different surface hardness of other sliding members when an insert is mounted on a holder main body. SOLUTION: This clamp member is used for fixing the cutting insert to the holder main body for a cutting tool. Each of first sliding part and second sliding part sliding with other members is provided on a surface part of the clamp member.
