More particularly, the present invention relates to the synthesis of diarylsilyl bridged biscyclopentadienes using diarylsilyldisulfonates. Even more particularly, the present invention describes Group IV metallocenes containing diarylsilyl bridged bis-cyclopentadienyl ligands prepared from contacting a diarylsilyldisulfonate with an organometallic indenyl reagent. |
