The device has a switch integrated into microphone housing. A switching signal of the switch is assigned to a steering electronic unit in a vehicle. The microphone is flexibly placed in the interior of the vehicle and is attached by a cable connection over an electronic circuit of an audio system. The switching signal is connected to a control unit of the electronic unit by a control signal cable. The microphone and the control signal cable of the switch are combined in the cable (2).
