Media module (4) comprises a front wall (42) joined to a rear wall via a support system. The module forms a preassembled unit with supply lines. An independent claim is also included for a fume cupboard with the above media module. Preferred Features: The front wall and the rear wall are formed as plate-like bands having a rectangular cross-section.
