<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of reducing a frequency of performing sulfur poisoning recovery treatment, in a sulfur poisoning recovery control device. <P>SOLUTION: This sulfur poisoning recovery control device has a storage-reduction type NOx catalyst in an exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine used by mixing a plurality of fuels, and performs the sulfur positioning recovery treatment, when a sulfur poisoning quantity of the storage-reduction type NOx catalyst becomes a predetermined quantity or more. The device has a fuel concentration detecting means detecting the concentration of a predetermined kind of fuel in fuel supplied to the internal combustion engine, and a sulfur poisoning quantity estimating means S102 estimating a quantity of sulfur component stored in the storage-reduction type NOx catalyst on the basis of the concentration detected by the fuel concentration detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
