<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular lighting fixture in which irradiation state of light emitted from a light source can be controlled and the light can be utilized effectively without complicating a circuit configuration. <P>SOLUTION: In this vehicular lighting fixture, a reflective dimmer member 19 is arranged and installed on an optical passage of light from the light source 11 to a light transmitting part 15 faced outside of the vehicle. The reflective dimmer member has a reflective dimmer layer 45 between a pair of mutually opposing transparent substrates 41, 43, and is provided with a transparent electrode layer 43a on the opposing face of at least one transparent substrate. Transmittance and reflectance of the light of the reflective dimmer member are adjustable accompanying voltage changes applied to this transparent electrode layer 43a. A control part 21 is provided in which the transmittance and the reflectance of the light of the reflective dimmer member is adjusted by changing applying voltage and in which the irradiation state of the light is controlled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
