<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording material which can form/erase an image with a clear contrast, can hold a stable image with time under an environment of everyday life, can stably and repeatedly form/erase the image, has a stable handling and manufacturing properties to obstacles of dust/static electricity by preventing static electrification, is excellent in visibility of the formed image, and has no bad effect on wireless IC or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The reversible thermal recording material provided with a reversible thermal recording layer on a substrate, is characterized by providing a thermal adhering layer comprising an ionic liquid on the face of the opposite side to the recording layer. A more preferable result is obtained in comparison with the case wherein the reversible thermal recording layer comprises an ordinarily colorless or light-colored dye precursor and a reversible color developer for generating a reversible color tone change to the dye precursor by heating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
