<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strength reinforcing structure of an electronic key securing the appearance of a casing of the electronic key without adding new parts for strength reinforcement even if aiming at the strength reinforcement of the casing of the electronic key following thinning of the electronic key, for instance. <P>SOLUTION: A substrate 27 of a portable unit 2 is built in a body case 13 of the portable unit 2. A receiving antenna 31 of the portable unit 2 is mounted to the substrate 27. The receiving antenna 31 is formed of a loop antenna with an antenna wire 31b annularly wound around an antenna bobbin 31a. The antenna bobbin 31a is formed into a solid body with no cavity at its inner peripheral part by being formed in approximately plate shape, and such a shape forms a thick-walled part 31x.
