PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general teaching aid, by utilizing the culture of Karuta (a Japanese traditional card game) which has been used for play from old times, for learning the shape, name of the instruments, usage, precautions for use, and relations between experimental instruments while having fun. SOLUTION: On the surface of the card, 1. a symbol of grouping and 2. an illustration of the science experimental instrument are shown and, on the rear face, information of 3. a name, 4. usage, and 5. precautions for use of the instrument are shown. The cards are arranged with the illustrated face up, and a user can learn with joy while playing cards at the signal of the name, usage, precautions for use of the experimental instrument. By playing a game of collecting cards referring to the symbols of grouping, the user can also learn relations between experimental instruments with pleasure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
