PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot melt composition which has a high softening point and excellent heat resistance, has a long open time, can correspond to various coating methods, and has sufficient adhesiveness especially also on fibrillation sprays, and to provide a mat and a carpet each using the composition. SOLUTION: The hot melt composition comprises (A) 30 to 70 pts.wt. of an amorphous olefin polymer, (B) 5 to 30 pts.wt. of amorphous polypropylene except (A), and (C) 10 to 40 pts.wt. of a tackifying resin.
